Open EuropeMaps on your watch to continue. Choose MENU → Download maps → Choose on phone (called Phone picker on older versions), or Route Navigation → Import route for GPX. Keep the watch app open. No account is needed.

1. Choose your download centre
Search for a place or pick any point on the map. You can move a searched location on the map too.
Select a search result
Tap the map to set or move the centre. Drag or pinch to explore without moving your selection.
The interactive map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading it shares your IP address and the viewed map area with OpenStreetMap.

Choose a centre, then preview the area before sending it to your watch.

Return to Garmin Connect
Keep EuropeMaps open on your watch. Open Garmin Connect on your phone to continue the transfer.
If the button does not open the app, or you use Android, open Garmin Connect manually. Keep it available while the watch downloads. Your browser may ask for confirmation.
